What is Mediation?
It is a path to proactive problem solving in the workplace.  Mediation brings in an impartial party and helps the conflicting participants identify what the issue(s) are, where the communication breakdown occurred, and facilitates a plan for reconciliation and prevention of further communication breakdown.
My Philosophy

I believe in meeting people where they are.  Mediation is about building bridges and finding creative solutions.  when you meet people where they are, you can help them move forward to reach their potential.

Why Mediation?
Confidentiality + Efficiency + Cost = Successful Conflict Resolution

  • Mediation is more efficient and less expensive than litigation. many conflicts can be resolved in a single mediation session lasting just a few hours.

  • With the help of a mediator, the conflicting parties control the process and craft their own solution.  In litigated disputes, the parties can influence the process but have no control over the outcome.

  • It's confidential. The mediator is a a disinterested third person that participates in the process with the parties' permission.

  • A mediator helps the parties reach an agreement to separate the people from the problem.  In other words, a mediator helps the parties look at their economic interests, not their positions.
